We are looking for a committed and compassionate Secondary Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a thriving school in the heart of Barking and Dagenham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in students'' lives, providing both academic and pastoral support to help them reach their potential in and beyond the classroom.

• Support students across a range of subjects in Key Stages 3 and 4

• Deliver targeted interventions for students who need additional help, including those with SEND or EAL

• Work closely with teaching staff to plan and deliver inclusive learning strategies

• Build strong relationships with students, encouraging their confidence, focus and participation

• Assist in maintaining a positive, safe and supportive learning environment

• Support behaviour management in line with the school''s policies

• Have experience working with secondary-aged pupils in a school or youth setting

• Demonstrate a genuine passion for helping young people learn and grow

• Have good communication and interpersonal skills

• Be patient, resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced school environment

• Hold (or be working towards) a relevant Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification

• Be committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of all students
