What You Will Do:- Set and operate CNC Lathes (Fanuc/G-Code) with precision and efficiency.- Generate CNC machine programmes and ensure components meet manufacturing specifications.- Read and interpret engineering drawings, understanding tolerances and requirements.- Assist other operatives with setups, tooling, and cutting details to optimise performance.- Identify and prepare tooling, fixtures, and machine programme needs in advance to minimise downtime.- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cutting fluid checks, and machine cleaning. What You Will Bring: - Proven experience as a CNC Machinist - Turner, with a minimum of two years in a similar role.- Strong ability to understand and read G codes.- A-Level or equivalent education.- Expertise in working with Fanuc/G-Code CNC Lathes.- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to machining components with precision.
