This is a low-volume, high-variety environment, offering exposure to interesting, complex components rather than repetitive batch work. The RoleAs a key member of the machine shop, you will be responsible for:Setting, operating and programming CNC machines (lathes and/or machining centres)Working with Fanuc controls (essential requirement)Producing high-quality precision components to tight tolerancesSelecting tooling, carrying out in-process quality checks and maintaining documentationContributing to continuous improvement and departmental performance targetsHoursMonday - Thursday 07:00-16:00 Friday 07:00-12:00 What We''re Looking ForTo be considered, you must have: Strong CNC setting, operating and programming experienceProficiency with Fanuc controls (G and M codes)Ability to work from engineering drawings and use measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers)Experience in both milling and/or turningA proactive, quality-focused approach with the ability to work independently or as part of a teamDesirable (Not Essential)Knowledge of CAD/CAMExperience with Lean manufacturing principles (6S, SMED etc.)Use of conventional machine toolsWhy Apply?Stable, long-term opportunity with overtime availabilitySupportive team environmentInteresting and varied work - not repetitive productionEarly finish
