Salaried GP (ARRS Role)

Job SummaryCollege Green Medical Practice is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our friendly, patient-focused team. This exciting role is offered for 6 sessions per week and is funded through the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS).
The post is for newly qualified GPs (within 2 years of CCT) who have successfully completed their ARCP and are looking for a supportive environment to develop their careers.
Responsibilities
Provide safe, effective, and patient-centred medical care in line with GMC Good Medical Practice.
Undertake routine and urgent consultations, including telephone, online, and face-to-face appointments.
Contribute to on-the-day urgent care, including triage and same-day patient needs.
Support chronic disease management, preventative care, and health promotion initiatives.
Undertake home visits when clinically appropriate.
Participate in duty doctor responsibilities as part of the clinical rota.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the practice and Primary Care Network (PCN).
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using the practice IT system.
Engage in clinical governance, audit, quality improvement, and significant event reviews.
Take part in educational activities, peer learning, and development opportunities offered through the ARRS fellowship programme.

Person SpecificationQualifications
Essential
Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
If awaiting CCT, successfully completed final ARCP (i.e. outcome 6).
Desirable
Experience in chronic disease management or minor procedures.
Previous salaried or locum GP experience.
Interest in portfolio work or teaching/mentoring.
Awareness of primary care policy and QOF.
