We’re looking for an
Employee Communications Business Partner
to join our Client, Comms and Marketing (CCM) directorate. This is a strategic leadership role reporting to the Communications Director. This standalone role will shape and deliver a compelling employee communications and engagement strategy. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, including the CEO and Chief People Officer, to boost employee engagement, drive cultural alignment, and ensure communications support our commercial and organisational goals. While this role does not manage a direct team, it is highly influential, working across functions to deliver impactful communications and engagement initiatives that inspire and connect colleagues.What you’ll be doing
Developing and delivering an employee communication and engagement strategy aligned with business vision, values, and goals.Advising and influencing senior leaders, including GEC members, to embed effective engagement approaches into projects and programmes.Shaping employee-focused narratives and communications that support business priorities and cultural goals.Using data and insights to design evidence-based communication and engagement programmes.Partnering with senior leadership to create a group-wide leadership engagement approach.Collaborating across central communications teams and resources to deliver high-quality content, events, and campaigns.Driving best practice and continuous improvement in employee communications across the organisation.Contributing to strategic planning and reporting for senior leadership.Who we’re looking for
We need an experienced communications professional with a consistent record in developing and delivering strategic employee engagement programmes. You’ll bring gravitas, credibility, and the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders, while also working collaboratively across a wide network. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in shaping impactful messages, using data-driven insights, and building trusted relationships that foster cultural and commercial success.Essential Skills And Experience
Significant experience developing and executing communication strategies, ideally in a financial services or complex corporate environment.Strong knowledge of employee engagement best practice, trends, and innovations.Proven ability to work with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility.Excellent influencing, relationship-building, and communication skills, with experience of managing matrix teams and resources.Desirable skills
Experience integrating internal communications within broader people and cultural strategies.Knowledge of B2B and B2C environments and how employee communications can support wider business aims.What’s in it for you?
