Application Support Engineer London 3 months contract excellent day rate Overview We an exciting opportunity has arisen with a global insurance firm for an Application Support Engineer. You will be responsible for providing hands-on support for several applications that are being transitioned from their sister company. This role involves troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and providing exceptional customer support to ensure the smooth operation of their software solutions. The solutions supported cover several mid and back-office teams such as Finance, Underwriting Operations, Claims, Actuarial, Risk and People teams. Role and Responsibilities Provide technical support for a range of SaaS applications Troubleshoot and resolve application issues reported by clients Collaborate with development teams and at vendors to identify and fix issues Oversee the day-to-day operations of various applications, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively Monitor system health and proactively address issues Document support processes and maintain accurate records of client interactions Conduct training sessions and create user guides to help clients maximize the use of our products Perform audit and compliance requirements such as User Access Reviews for certain applications Essential Skills and Experience Strong background in supporting a wide range of SaaS products, with specific experience of insurance applications. Insurance domain knowledge Experience with ITIL
