PA / Team Assistant – Leading Investment Bank12-month maternity cover
Near St Pauls and Farringdon
Office-based 5 days per week
£40-42k per annum equivalent
9 am – 5 pm, with flexibility
This role offers an incredible opportunity for a PA / Team Assistant with stable, corporate experience over the past few years, who is polished and confident, with excellent communication skills.
My client, an international leader within investment banking, are looking for a PA / Team Assistant to join their Executive Office – one of the most prestigious areas of the company where you would find yourself working closely with some of the most senior people in the firm, and recognised names within financial services.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Diary and calendar management
Coordinating and scheduling of meetings and conference calls across multiple time zones
Managing high volume of phone calls and emails, relaying information in a timely and accurate manner
Coordinating room bookings for internal/external meetings and VCs across multiple locations
Coordinating travel arrangements for the team, including: Visa applications, International flight and accommodation bookings and car bookings
Expense management and preparation
Taking on ad hoc tasks while maintaining workflow
Supporting teams in day-to-day issues, needs and queries
Providing phone / holiday coverage for colleagues
WHO YOU ARE:
You must have experience of working as a PA / Team Assistant within a corporate environment, ideally financial services, for the past 2-3 years
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
Able to prioritize a variety of time-sensitive tasks
Demonstrate dependability and high attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task
Display a consistent, professional degree of communication skills in person, on phone and by e-mail to various levels
Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels, internally and externally
Must be a team player that works well under pressure within a changing environment
Flexible and adaptable to work and support across multiple teams
Be resourceful and able to use own initiative in solving issues
Pro-active attitude when managing diaries
Discretion to deal with confidential business matters
Friendly and approachable with can do, muck in attitude.
