Head of Financial ReportingBroster Buchanan are working with a global media and entertainment business who are seeking a Head of Financial Reporting to lead their central finance team and oversee all core accounting and control activity. This is a high-profile role in a dynamic, creative environment, responsible for ensuring robust financial reporting and control across the group.What You’ll Be Doing

Own the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Oversee preparation and timely submission of statutory accounts across multiple entities, including SPVs and those linked to Creative Industry Tax Reliefs.Deliver high-quality group reporting, with clear analysis and insightful commentary.Partner closely with FPandA to provide reliable inputs into forecasting and planning.Act as a key point of contact with international group colleagues, ensuring adherence to accounting policies.Lead on external audits, resolving queries efficiently and driving timely completion.Strengthen financial controls, reviewing reconciliations and processes to safeguard integrity.Lead, coach, and develop a talented finance team, fostering a culture of high performance.What We’re Looking For

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant (8+ years PQE).Strong technical expertise in UK GAAP (FRS 101/102) and IFRS.Proven experience in group consolidations across multiple entities (including SPVs).Demonstrated ability to deliver statutory reporting under tight deadlines.Strong leadership and team development skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.Audit background (Big Four experience desirable but not essential).Experience in the creative industries, or familiarity with Creative Industry Tax Reliefs, is advantageous.
