Contracts Manager

Overview
As Contracts Manager, you’ll take ownership of multiple live schemes, working closely with National Highways and other key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. You’ll be instrumental from early contractor involvement through to delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and programme targets are consistently met.Duties
Drive the successful delivery of highways civils schemes from EDI stage through to completionBuild and maintain collaborative working relationships with National Highways and other partnersLead site teams and manage supply chain partners, promoting a culture of safety and performanceInfluence project planning and programming during pre-construction and EDI phasesMonitor and manage contractual programmes and cost forecasts in collaboration with the commercial teamCoach and develop your team, identifying training needs and supporting growthOversee the timely procurement of plant, materials, and sub-contractorsSupport the Operations Manager in identifying and securing future work opportunities across the regionPerson Specification
You will ideally have: Proven experience managing multiple civil engineering schemes or a major infrastructure projectA formal qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (desirable)Strong knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contractsDemonstrated ability to lead teams and build effective stakeholder relationshipsA proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and project deliveryContract Type: PermanentHours: Full Time - 40 hours - Monday to FridayFairness Inclusion and Respect
