NB the rate of pay is dependent upon experience; newly qualified nurses will start at £18.27 per hour, rising to £19.30 after one year post-qualification/registration experience.Key Responsibilities
Deliver and oversee person-centered care, continually assessing residents'' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life.Champion independence and personal choice; develop, review, and update care plans to meet changing needs.Manage medicines on your shift, ensuring proper receipt, storage, and administration in accordance with policies and legislation.Build and promote the positive reputation of the care home; communicate professionally with visitors, families, and stakeholders.Ensure positive resident experiences from admission to discharge.Participate in inspections by RQIA, Trusts, and CCGs, ensuring readiness at all times.Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines; proactively manage risks and report issues.Maintain rigorous monitoring and documentation of all resident and staff matters.Promote teamwork and ensure high-quality care delivery.Support and mentor team members in line with NMC Code.Attend meetings and participate in professional development and revalidation.The list of duties is not exhaustive; additional tasks may be assigned as appropriate.Requirements
