2nd Line IT Support

2nd Line IT Support required for a brilliant business based south of Bedford. This is a permanent, hybrid role (days in the office) paying upto £34k base on a 4 days on, 4 days off day shift pattern.We re seeking a proactive Tier 2 Engineer to join a growing Managed IT team. You ll provide second line support to customers, ensuring smooth operation of their IT services and infrastructure. This is a hands-on role involving troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining systems, whilst contributing to service improvements and mentoring colleagues.What you ll do:- Diagnose and resolve 2nd line technical issues across desktops, servers, and end-user devices- Monitor and maintain client IT systems (patching, updates, performance tuning)- Support incident, change, and problem management processes (ITIL-aligned)- Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 3 engineers, sharing knowledge and best practice- Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships- Contribute to security, compliance, and service quality improvementsWhat we re looking for:- 3+ years IT support experience (MSP environment preferred)- Knowledge of Microsoft 365/Azure, Windows OS, networking, and security- Familiarity with ITIL processes and monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds, NinjaOne)- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills- Relevant certifications (Microsoft 365/Azure, ITIL Foundation) desirablePerks and Benefits:- 23 days holiday + birthday off (rising with service)- Pension, bo
