Foot Mobile Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting EngineerLocation: Central LondonWorking Hours: 8am-4:30pmResponsibilities

Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM), testing, and servicing of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.Undertake fault-finding, remedial works, and small installations in line with industry regulations (BS5839 and BS5266).Provide commissioning support, including fire alarm software programming where required.Respond promptly to reactive callouts, delivering first-time fixes wherever possible.Complete compliance documentation, logbooks, and certification following works.Liaise professionally with clients, tenants, and colleagues to ensure excellent service delivery.Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures and risk assessments.Essential Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems across commercial or residential sites.Strong working knowledge of emergency lighting systems and statutory testing requirements.On-site fire alarm experience (1st and 2nd fix works).Up-to-date knowledge of fire alarm industry standards (BS5839) and emergency lighting standards (BS5266).Demonstrable experience in fault-finding, diagnostics, and remedial works.Ability to work independently across multiple London sites with excellent time management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus.Desirable

Fire alarm software programming and commissioning experience.Industry-recognised training in fire alarm systems.Asbestos Awareness, IPAF, or PASMA certification.What We Offer
