Senior Town Planner

The ideal candidate for this Senior Town Planner role will have experience delivering a range of planning projects from initial strategy through to decision, along with a strong understanding of the local planning landscape and confidence in client-facing situations.

• Leading on planning applications, appeals, and site appraisals

• Providing planning strategy advice to clients across various sectors

• Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders and consultants

• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the planning team

• Assisting with business development and growing client relationships

• Staying up to date with relevant planning legislation and policy

• RTPI-accredited degree and MRTPI status (or working towards if at a near-final stage)

• Experience in a similar role within a consultancy or local authority

• Strong report writing, communication, and project management skills

• A commercial mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving

• Comfortable operating independently and as part of a team

• Full UK driving licence preferred
