Senior Town Planner

Our client is a respected and well-established firm with offices nationwide, known for delivering high-quality planning solutions to a broad client base across residential, commercial, mixed-use and regeneration sectors. They pride themselves on a collaborative culture, commercial focus, and a strong track record of securing complex planning permissions.

As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in leading and managing planning projects from inception through to determination. You will work closely with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams, delivering expert planning advice and helping to grow client relationships. This Senior Town Planner opportunity is perfect for someone who is confident managing applications, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals, and policy representations

• Deliver clear and commercially astute planning advice to clients

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and planning authorities

• Support junior members of the planning team and assist in their development

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients

Requirements:

• Degree in Town Planning or a related field

• MRTPI qualified

• Minimum 3+ years of professional planning experience

• Excellent knowledge of the UK planning system

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines confidently
