Having won major contracts in the UK defence sector, this company will work in partnership with 3 major global engineering organisations to deliver a programme of market-leading projects.Your new role:Our client has an exciting opportunity for someone to lead the APQP and Quality Assurance across 3 key sites, working on challenging and exciting world-leading defence projects.In this role you will be driving quality assurance and continuous improvement at a project level, making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure that APQP principles are fully embedded in key projects whilst maintaining quality standards.This role is focused around someone understanding design drawings and being able to set up and write the DFMEAs and ensure every stage of APQP is followed correctly, from planning through to final approval.The successful applicant will be the point of escalation for quality planning, control plans, and audits, making sure all sites are aligned and compliant with ISO9001, AQAP2110
