The company is seeking an experienced Financial Controller / Head of Finance to manage a small team and report to the Directors. Responsibilities include:Oversee a team of two staff in accountsResponsibility for the day-to-day finance functionPreparation of month-end accounts and analysisCash flow and working capital managementProduce forecasts for the bank and managementLiaise with surveyors regarding CVRs and retentionsVAT, CIS, and weekly and monthly payrollManagement of credit insurance and pension fundLiaise with external accountant regarding final accounts, tax, etc.The company is looking for an experienced Accountant, either qualified or qualified by experience, a previous Financial Controller or Finance Manager, ideally from the construction or manufacturing sectors, keen to join a stable, well-established privately-owned business in a long-term stable role. Commutable from East London, South Hertfordshire, M25, A406, A13, and A12 in Essex.
