This role is located in Manchester, UK and will be working in a hybrid capacity.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:Responsible for forward-thinking product planning, managing multiple product backlogs, and mentoring junior Product OwnersProduct Execution: Able to write specs for minor features and contribute meaningfully to specs for major featuresCustomer Insights: Formulates the right business questions to be asked and knows how to track down data to inform decisionsProduct Strategy: Understand business outcomes and how product decisions impact tradeoffsBridge the gap between user experience (UX) and product development, translating user needs into actionable product features and ensuring a user-centred design throughout the product lifecycleHigher level of experience and expertise in product managementFull ownership of the product backlog and near-term roadmap, ensuring that it is properly refined, prioritized, and groomedTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:Bachelor''s degree in business management, technology or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience requiredProduct Owner experience in the financial industry requiredAbility to negotiate the implementation of current work, make the right trade-off decisions to launch products in a high-quality mannerAbility to efficiently assess the quality and readiness of a releaseAt BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
