About the role The position is accountable for overseeing the control and release of raw materials, semi finished items, and finished products in line with site quality management systems and customer requirements. It involves carrying out product evaluations through sensory checks, QC testing, microbiological and chemical examinations, managing retained samples, and reviewing historical data to identify any quality drift. The role also includes maintaining daily GMP compliance within the laboratory, escalating non conformances appropriately, and ensuring laboratory safety through accurate incident reporting and correct waste disposal. This is a permanent, full time contract, based on site in Runcorn, working five days a week on rotating shifts one week on early shift (Mon-Thu 530 am-130 pm, Fri 530 am-1230 pm) and the following week on late shift (Mon-Thu 115 pm-915 pm, Fri 1
