Taking responsibility for the well-being of our residents and ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are metCoaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionalsCarrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each residentMonitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies and legislationKey Skills / Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, with a valid NMC pin, you’ll manage the unit alongside clinical duties in the home. This includes oversight of care, administering and ordering medication, reviewing and evaluating individual care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team and delivering best practice continually.Experience ensuring policies and standards are kept to a high clinical standard.Confident in offering clinical guidance for care teams and assisting with all CQC tasks.Build connections with residents and their families, providing kindness, support and care.Effective communication and reporting skills to handover clinical issues to other team members and health care professionals.Night shift requirements: enhanced skills to ensure patient safety when working largely independently, with strong critical thinking, confidence, self-reliance, and the ability to manage care staff and stay calm in emergencies.Benefits
