Role: Senior Teacher Head of Science Contract: Full time Location: W3 Chiswick Main Purpose Lead the Science across the school, driving high standards of teaching and learning across all key stages. Take a key role in school leadership as a senior teacher, contributing to the wider development of Eagle Park Independent School. Teach Science classes, ensuring high-quality, inclusive education for all pupils. Demonstrate expertise and provide support as an experienced SEN teacher, specialising in Autism and Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN). Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership for the Science curriculum, assessment, and pedagogy. Deliver outstanding classroom teaching, adapting approaches for pupils with SEN, specifically those with Autism and SLCN. Work closely with other staff to support inclusive practice across the school. Monitor pupil progress and implement effective interventions to maximise achievement. Contribute to whole-school improvement planning and policy development. Ensure effective communication with parents/carers and external agencies. Uphold the school s safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all pupils. Model high expectations and positive relationships across the school community.
