Engineering Manager required to lead a maintenance team in a fast paced manufacturing environment for a growing business based in East Lothian

The Role:

• Provide engineering advice and coaching where necessary.
• Manage and optimise existing production machinery or facility availability and efficiency with the framework of a total predictive, preventative and curative maintenance programs
• Planning and developing PEMAC / CMMS systems to deliver maximum line/process efficiency including energy, plant services and utilities.

The candidate

• Detailed engineering knowledge of all aspects of manufacturing equipment
• Recognised apprenticeship qualification/degree or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline
• Understanding of the contribution Engineering can make to the achievement of Manufacturing KPIs
• Leadership experience
• Manufacturing experience is essential for this role (heavy engineering would be advantageous)
