Barts Health NHS Trust .An exciting vacancy has become available which involves working within extended roles including the medical retina, injection and post-operative cataract clinics across Whipps Cross and Newham sites with potential core optometry sessions. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Optometrist to join our teams.The post-holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary Optometry and Ophthalmology teams that provide comprehensive and quality ophthalmology services for the Trust.Responsibilities

Participate in core optometry clinics including specialist contact lenses and paediatrics.Participate in the delivery of the ophthalmology service in the areas of Medical Retina and injection services.Participate in the eye emergency services.Participate in glaucoma clinics.Participate in cataract and post-operative cataract clinics as well as virtual clinics.Participate in the delivery of highly specialist ophthalmic services and extended roles that meet the changing needs of the department.About Barts Health
