The school is now seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join its team and help ensure that all pupils receive the support they need to thrive.
About the Role:
- Support the class teacher in preparing and organising learning materials and classroom resources
- Provide targeted support to SEN students, working one-to-one or in small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence
- Assist in promoting positive behaviour, helping to maintain a calm, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Carry out administrative duties, including taking attendance, updating records, and preparing classroom displays
The ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrates strong skills in both Maths and English, essential for supporting learning across the curriculum
- A recognised Teaching Assistant and/or SEN qualification is advantageous, though not essential
- Brings a supportive, proactive attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond for students
- Confident in delivering SEN support in both 1:1 and small group settings, tailored to individual needs
