ReadingConstruction South is part of the UK Construction business, covering Wales, West, and the South East. Projects typically range from £5 million to £50 million, mainly in the Public Sector, with some in the Private Sector. Sectors include Leisure, Justice, Defence, Education, Health, and Commercial offices.Role

Appraise and ensure BREEAM obligations are met.Generate contractors’ proposals for submission.Set design deliverables for each consultant and CDP contractor, and schedule drawings, specifications, and other design information required for construction.For Design and Build projects, identify and agree on drawings and samples for client approval, and produce a programme of critical dates for client approvals.Monitor and report on design progress, statutory approvals, outstanding information, subcontractor design, and environmental/CDM issues.Review design information at tender and construction phases, and report on value engineering, statutory compliance, and contract coordination.Skills and Experience

Strong industry experience from architectural or project management backgrounds, with experience in projects exceeding £5 million.Experience with both design and build and traditional contracting methods.Excellent communication skills.Technical and design expertise.Understanding of the design and construct process.#LI-MO1What’s in it for you?
