About the Role:
An inclusive SEN school in Milton Keynes is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). You will play a vital role in helping children overcome barriers to learning while promoting independence, wellbeing, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
andbull; Support pupils with SLD in developing literacy, numeracy, and life skills
andbull; Implement personalised learning plans and adapt materials where necessary
andbull; Work with teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide consistent care
andbull; Promote positive behaviour and encourage social interaction
andbull; Support pupils with sensory and communication needs
andbull; Assist with personal care as required

Requirements:
andbull; Experience working with SLD or SEN pupils (advantageous)
andbull; Calm, empathetic, and patient nature
andbull; Understanding of EHCPs and SEN strategies
andbull; Valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
