We are seeking an experienced and proactive Managing Quantity Surveyor for a Tier 1 Main Contractor to lead the commercial and cost management functions across construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional who can deliver strong financial control, oversee project teams, and ensure commercial success from inception through to completion. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors and Assistant QSs across multiple projects. Oversee all commercial aspects including cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and final accounts. Provide accurate forecasting and regular financial reporting to senior management and clients. Negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure best value and compliance with contractual terms. Support project delivery teams with commercial advice and risk management strategies. Drive continuous improvement in cost management processes and commercial performance. Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and health and safety regulations. About You Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline. Strong commercial acumen and excellent negotiation skills. Proven ability to manage and mentor teams effectively. Experience with various forms of contract (e.g., JCT, NEC). Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
