We are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor in the Shepshed area to work within the commercial team of a well-established social housing contractor, based out of their East Midlands office.The role of Quantity Surveyor:To guide the financial management of the joint venture maintenance contract, ensuring that financial targets are achievedTo provide an effective interface with the clients, Partnering management, consultants and suppliersTo Validate and approve subcontractor quotations to ensure value for money is achievedTo collate, submit and agree applications/payment with the clientTo ensure that cost information is collated monthly, and the necessary risk and opportunity are accounted forEnsure that the contract is properly informed as to the commercial and financial position so it can best make business decisionsWe would love to hear from a Quantity Surveyor who has:Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sectorDetailed understanding of contracts Strong analytical, financial and numeracy skills Negotiation skills In return, the Quantity Surveyor will receive: Up to 50,000 basic salary (depending on experience)Car allowance Annual bonus scheme 25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysCompany sick payLife insurance Guaranteed income protection If you are interested in this Quantity Surveyor role, please apply online or call Alex on (phone number removed).
