We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading chemical distributor for an Internal Account Manager to join their growing Leeds team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven individual with experience selling physical products in a B2B environment — ideally within chemicals or technical ingredients.
The Role:

Manage and develop existing customer accounts in the household ingredients sector

Promote a wide portfolio of speciality chemicals and value-added services
-
Handle customer quotes, samples, CRM updates, and day-to-day communication

Work closely with field sales and technical teams to drive growth

Identify new sales opportunities and convert leads into repeat business
What We’re Looking For:
-
Proven experience in internal sales or account management
-
Essential: background in selling physical products (not just services or solutions)
-
Chemical or technical product experience is a strong advantage
-
Proactive, commercially minded, and confident in client engagement
-
Strong communicator and well-organised multitasker
-
Full UK driving licence and access to a car
