Housing Officer Location: 152 Broadmead Road, Woodford Green, IG8 0AG Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 7+ Months Working Hours: Mon Fri, 09 00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £ 19.75 per hour Job Ref: OR9329 Responsibilities Identify vulnerable residents and collaborate with partner agencies to ensure residents can live safely and maintain their tenancies. Manage all aspects of Tenancy Management, including successions, assignments, mutual exchanges, and legal issues. This includes preparing statements, presenting them in court, handling boundary disputes, and addressing property damage. Effectively manage anti-social behavior through proactive case management, negotiation, solution-finding, victim updates, and maintaining detailed records. Person Specification Resilient self-starter who can think quickly and effectively in various challenging situations. Ability to relish challenges and handle confrontation. Strong attention to detail is essential. Creativity and proven ability to develop solutions to assist residents on estates. Willingness to attend some out-of-hours meetings and capability to work alone. Daily use of a car and possession of a full driving license is essential.
