We’re building a national network of 50+ purpose-built hubs to provide electric charging, hydrogen, HVO, and bio-CNG to commercial fleets. We’re seeking a game-changing Head of Operations to lead the rollout and performance of our growing portfolio of UK hubs. This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone who wants to build from the ground up, scale with speed, and deliver real results.Responsibilities

Lead the startup and ongoing operation of clean energy hubs across the UK.Build, lead and inspire a growing ops team—field service, operations managers, and site support.Implement scalable processes and use data and tech to optimise performance.Collaborate cross-functionally with QHSE, technical, commercial, and finance teams.Drive operational excellence with a clear focus on safety, compliance, and customer experience.Must-haves

5–10+ years in operations leadership (fuel, EV charging, retail, FMCG or similar).Proven experience managing multi-site PandLs, delivering profit and service targets.Strategic mindset, strong commercial acumen, and a love for operational detail.Knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.A collaborative leadership style and a passion for team building.Experience scaling infrastructure or operations in a high-growth environment.Familiarity with ERP systems and data-led performance tracking.An entrepreneurial mindset—creative, resilient, and solutions-oriented.About the team and opportunity
