The below job description will outline this position of: Sales Administrator

Typically, this person support the external sales team in a sales administration function offering admin and customer support both via email and phone. This is an exciting opportunity for someone wanting to learn about marine engineering and become trained into a field sales / business development position.

Duties and responsibilities of the Sales Administrator:

• Create and place purchase orders for parts and services
• Produce accurate invoicing and order documentation
• Support warehousing, logistics and parts stock coordination
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal technical teams
• Assist the Sales Manager with client enquiries, quotes and sales support tasks
• Maintain accurate records in sales systems and support reporting   

Qualifications and requirements for the Sales Administrator:

• Proven experience in sales administration or similar customer-facing administrative role
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ideally experience in engineering services or technical parts environments
• Understanding of stock control, warehousing or logistics processes
• Professional, organised and customer-focused approach
• A full driving licence is required
