Interim Financial Controller - 1 year FTC - c£90k-£100k+Bonus. Autumnal Partners are exclusively representing a lead credit fund to appoint a Financial Controller on a 1 year fixed term contract. This is a high-impact role for a technically strong finance professional who is ready to take ownership of the corporate finance function and work closely with the CFO in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.Key Responsibilities

Lead the corporate finance function, ensuring accurate books and records.Manage and mentor one direct report.Oversee month-end close and production of management accounts.Prepare board packs and deliver insightful financial analysis.Coordinate statutory financial statements under UK GAAP/IFRS.Manage the annual audit and liaise with external auditors.Oversee corporate tax compliance with support from external advisors.Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.Review and enhance financial controls, processes, and policies.Partner with the CFO on ad hoc projects and business initiatives.About You

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical grounding.5–8 years’ post-qualified experience, ideally combining audit training with in-house experience of finance management for an asset management, private equity, or credit fund manager.Proven ability to manage and develop junior staff.Strong communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders.Hands-on, detail-driven, and adaptable, with a proactive mindset.Seniority level
