Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:

• Support the class teacher with planning, delivering, and evaluating learning activities.
• Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils, especially those with additional learning needs.
• Assist with classroom management and maintaining a safe, engaging learning environment.
• Support students’ academic progress, behaviour, and emotional development.
• Help prepare and organise classroom materials and displays.
• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals.

Requirements for a Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a school setting is desirable.
• A genuine passion for supporting children''s learning and development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to different learning needs and styles.
• A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children.
