Salary: £90 – £110 per day

GSL Education is offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Spalding.

If you''re looking to gain experience, develop your skills, or start a long-term journey in the classroom, this Trainee Teaching Assistant role is the perfect opportunity to get started!

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across different subjects
• Support students with their learning on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage a positive learning environment
• Assist with preparing classroom resources and activities

Requirements:

• A strong interest in working in education and supporting young people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, proactive, and flexible approach
• Willingness to learn and take on feedback
• An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one

The Trainee Teaching Assistant role is ideal for recent graduates, career changers, or anyone passionate about working in schools. You’ll be supported every step of the way as you develop your skills and make a real difference to students’ education.
