ARRS Salaried GP for Connexus PCN

Overview
Connexus PCN is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated ARRS GP to support the 5 practices on a rotational basis, working across up to 2 sites at any one time. This role is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified GP (less than 2 years qualified) to gain experience across different practices whilst having the security, support and benefits of a salaried role.Responsibilities
Take the lead role of responsible duty doctor as part of a rota.Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation.Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.Prescribe in accordance with the BNSSG and Practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinically appropriate.Support other staff such as GP trainees, PCN allied staff, ANPs and nurses with clinical queries.Participate in proportionally shared Enhanced Access (EA) hours (to be discussed) along with the other clinicians within the business, including early starts, late working or Saturday working (prorata, prebooked and fairly allocated).Adhere to safeguarding requirements and deal appropriately with complaints, incidents and alerts using company systems and policies.Adhere to all company clinical governance policies.Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.Collect data for audit purposes and for compliance with QOF requirements.Alert other team members to issues of quality and risk.Reflect and assess own and team performance.Work effectively with other agencies to meet patients needs in a person-centred way.Effectively manage own time, workload and resources.Mentor and provide clinical supervision for a multi-disciplinary team, which may include APs, Nursing and Administrative teams.Commit to life-long learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice.Meet CPD requirements and keep personal, mandatory and/or organisational training up to date, including any training programme implemented by the Practice as part of this employment.Support the practice in achieving contractual targets.Communicate effectively with other team members and with patients and carers.Qualifications

MBBCh or similar medical qualificationMRCGP or equivalentFull registration with GMCInclusion on National Performers ListMDO/Medical IndemnityAppropriate level of primary care experienceSound knowledge of clinical governance, including audit and care improvement activitiesDesirable
Evidence of leadership in current role e.g., mentoring, safeguarding or prescribing domains or responsibility for QOF/IIF domains with evidence of successful outcomes.Evidence of involvement in clinical research in primary care.Evidence of involvement in training GP registrars and/or training and mentoring Allied health care professional staff.Evidence of working with frail or elderly patients or nursing home lead role.Evidence of work addressing health inequalities and Quality improvement work within primary care.Compliance
