Chemistry Teacher (Full-Time)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and inspiring Chemistry Teacher to join our thriving Science department from September 2026. About the Role
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for science. You will be expected to contribute to curriculum development, support student progress, and engage fully in the wider life of the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Chemistry lessons
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
• Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum
• Support extracurricular activities, such as STEM clubs or enrichment programmes

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• A degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level (including A-Level desirable)
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
