Key ResponsibilitiesAssessment and PlanningAssess patient''s functional abilities, needs, and goals using standardised and non-standardised tools.Develop personalised treatment and rehabilitation programmes to support independence in daily living, work, or education.Advise on adaptations, equipment, or assistive technology to enhance participation and safety.Intervention and SupportDeliver therapy sessions to improve mobility, self-care, cognition, and psycho social functioning.Provide guidance on fatigue management, pain management, and coping strategies.Support clients and families in developing skills and confidence for daily activities.Collaboration and AdvocacyWork as part of a multidisciplinary team with physiotherapists, speech therapists, doctors, nurses, social workers, and educators.Liaise with carers, employers, and community agencies to ensure holistic care and support.Advocate for client''s needs in relation to health, education, and social services.Record Keeping and ReportingMaintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.Produce professional reports and contribute to care plans, risk assessments, and discharge planning.Professional Standards and DevelopmentAdhere to HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) standards and occupational therapy best practice.Engage in regular supervision, reflective practice, and continuing professional development (CPD).Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and student mentoring whe
