3D CAD Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to join a unique and exciting industry. You will be assisting in bringing stages, grandstands, and temporary entertainment structures to life – from concept to installation.

We are looking for an AutoCAD Proficient engineer with experience with structural design to join this business as it continues to go from strength to strength.

The Job:

This is a technical role, but will allow for design inspiration and the opportunity to work on very exciting projects.

Your duties will include:

• Creating and developing 2D layout drawings and 3D Models (AutoCAD 3D) for design purposes.
• Working from concept drawings, technical information, and client scope to produce high quality plans detailing structures, stages, site layouts and rigging.
• Preparing drawings for planning applications, and that meet health and safety requirements.
• Managing CAD archive through the internal system ensuring standards are maintained.

The Person

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer. You will be joining a team of 5 Design Engineers, and you will need to be a team player, with a pro-active attitude, who is willing to assist throughout the department.

This position will develop even the most experienced engineers skills, as the company uses bespoke methods to create some extremely unique structures.
