This recently established company are already the global leaders in the manufacturing of EV Powertrains. They provide units for a multitude of uses spanning from complete defensive vehicles to EV conversion kits for classic cars. The company is looking to increase the size of their design team as they continue to grow.

In this new varied role, you will help design a variety of components for the complete drop in EV powertrains and new vehicle prototypes. Producing detailed technical drawings and documents alongside 3D modelling and verification testing making sure that everything produced is compliant with automotive industry standards.

This role would suit a Mechanical CAD Technician who''s proficient in SolidWorks or similar, from an automotive background looking to join a growing company where they''ll be supported and trained up by the existing team helping them with the overall day-today operations of the company.

The Role:

• Design and create the design of powertrains including EV conversion kits and bespoke vehicle prototypes
• Liasie with other departments to ensure all products designed are up to automotive industry standards
• Carry out 3D modelling and prototyping producing detailed mechanical design work that''s compliant with legal vehicle conversion regulations
