My client is an established engineering manufacturing firm based in Redditch, commutable from Solihull, Bromsgrove, Alvechurch, Studley, and Henley-in-Arden.

They are currently looking for an experienced CNC Milling Setter Operator to join their team.

The Role: CNC Milling Setter Operator

• Set and operate CNC 3/4-axis Milling Machines
• Work on Fanuc-based controls
• Read and work from engineering drawings
• Inspect and quality check own work using measuring equipment
• Maintain machinery, including swarf removal, routine oiling, and greasing
• Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate
• Comply with all company rules, including Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements
  
  

• Proven experience in setting and operating CNC 3/4-axis Milling Machines
• Knowledge of Fanuc control systems essential
• Experience working with precision engineering and to tight tolerances
• Previous work in the Aerospace or Automotive industry is desirable
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Confident in quality checking own work
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
• Motivated and an excellent team player
  
  

• Starting rate £16.50 per hour – negotiable dependent on experience
• Choice of shift (you can choose either days, afternoons or nights) Mon–Fri – Flexible Shift Pattern
