Support our Business Risk team in achieving both short-term and long-term objectives, ensuring the Executive and governance committees have the assurance that risks are effectively captured, controlled, and remain within the set risk appetite.Who You’ll Be Working With

The Business Risk team is part of the Business Risk and Compliance function within the Finance Division. It sits in MO’s second line as part of the 3 lines model for risk management. Risk is owned by first line business areas with the Business Risk team supporting, advising and capturing key risks and ensuring appropriate mitigation and control within appetite set by the business.What The Programme Offers

You’re someone who enjoys working with data and solving problems. You know your way around Excel and can build simple tools to make tasks easier. You may have started using Power BI or automation tools, or you may be keen to learn. You’re curious, enjoy asking questions to understand how things work, and can communicate effectively with different teams.You Don’t Need To Be An Expert In Everything, But You Do Need To Bring The Right MindsetConfident in using ExcelInterested in Power BI or process automationEnjoys collaborating and asking thoughtful questionsOrganised and detail-orientedEager to learn and solve real problemsThis placement lets you apply technical skills in a real business environment, turning data and insight into practical tools and reporting that support better decisions. You’ll work with teams across the organisation to help manage risk more effectively. You’ll be making an impact while you learn and grow with the team.Minimum Criteria
