Learning Support Assistant - Lambeth Primary School (Near Vauxhall Station)

Pay: -85100 per day (dependent on experience)

An inclusive and welcoming primary school in the heart of Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This rewarding role involves providing one-to-one support for a Year 4 pupil with learning difficulties, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their potential.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to support a child with additional learning needs. Your role will include adapting learning materials, encouraging participation, and ensuring the pupil feels confident and included in classroom activities.

• Supporting the student in all areas of learning, helping them remain focused and engaged

• Modifying classroom resources to suit the child''s needs

• Delivering one-to-one and small group learning sessions

• Promoting the pupil''s independence and confidence

• Monitoring and recording progress to support future planning

• Working in line with the pupil''s Individual Education Plan (IEP)

• Experience supporting children with additional learning needs (in or out of a school setting)

• A calm, patient, and empathetic nature

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

• A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
