You will play a key role in scoping and delivering projects for our clients. This role requires a motivated consulting professional, with excellent communication skills and an analytical mindset.This role is an hybrid position based in our London office.Responsibilities

Commercial Impact

Skilled ability to take a brief, listen to client needs and scope a proposal in response, and continually seek opportunities for referrals and on-sell within existing projectsBuild strong relationships with senior stakeholders, with the ability to influence, advise and coach.Deliver against a quota for consulting revenue and sales of our technology products.Project and Sales Process Discipline

Lead projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.Own the full sales cycle; from initial enquiry to proposal, contracting, and handover.Maintain accurate internal systems and reporting with attention to detail and pride in precision.Work independently or collaboratively on larger projects, with strong quality assurance and stakeholder management.Delivery of Board Intelligence IP and content

Develop actionable governance insights through board effectiveness reviews and bespoke projects and clearly communicate recommendations that drive organisational improvement.Lead and facilitate high-impact workshops and discussions with executives and board members.Craft clear and visually engaging stories using PowerPoint for presentations and workshops.Deploy BI advisory IP and technology solutions to optimise board and management reporting (inc. KPI dashboards)Coach executives on drafting clear, concise, and compelling narratives for reports and presentations.Quickly understand the key drivers of value for clients, using these insights to lead and facilitate impactful workshops and strategic discussions with executives and board members. Shape critical project deliverables such as board pack structures and KPI dashboards.Innovation and Product Feedback

Contribute insights from the field to enhance Board Intelligence’s advisory offerings, methodology, and product development.Share knowledge internally and externally, developing thought leadership content, webinars, and client-facing materials.Maintain awareness of emerging corporate governance practices, regulations, and trends across diverse industries and geographies.Required Experience

Minimum of 5 years proven consulting/advisory experience, ideally focused on governance-related matters and/or advising boards/executives (this could be an internal role e.g. managing a remediation within a large, regulated business)You’ll be equipped with the core consulting skillset and will have delivered projects to corporate or financial services clients.Experience working on client proposals, growing existing clients and bringing in new clients.Project management experience.Key Skills

Analytical and problem solvingStrong business acumen, with an understanding of value creation drivers for different business models.Clear thinking; able to break down complex concepts in a structured mannerTechnical LiteracySkilled in Excel with the ability to interpret and present data to uncover key insightsProficient in PowerPoint, with a strong grasp of narrative structure and visual impactClient and Commercial AcumenStrong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for client growthConfident and credible when engaging senior stakeholders, with the ability to influence and build lasting relationshipsOutstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a clear and concise style suited to client meetings, workshops and presentationsGeneral understanding of corporate governance/reporting trends and regulations, and a desire to continuously learn about emerging governance practices across different industries and geographiesExceptional operating discipline, attention to detail and comfortable managing multiple projects whilst delivering to deadlines.Benefits
