Rotational band 6 Occupational therapist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and flexible existing Band 5 Occupational Therapist with relevant experience in the acute hospital setting to join the Band 6 rotation at North Middlesex University Hospital.

The post holder will provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for an allocated patient caseload in the relevant clinical setting.
Responsibilities
Provide support and clinical supervision to junior staff, e.g., rotational Band 5 occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and OT students on clinical placements.
Be an active member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in service developments, audits, and reviews.
Collaborate with other health and social care professionals to facilitate timely and safe discharges and prevent hospital admissions.
Deputise for the Team Leader in their absence.
