Adecco are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Technician to join our client, who are a leader in there industry. This role involves performing both mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant. You will be responsible for planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance activities, using a Computerised Maintenance Management System to log and manage tasks.

This is a day shift role, working Monday - Friday.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance and operational tasks safely and efficiently, following all Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the CMMS
  • Respond promptly to reactive and emergency maintenance issues to minimise downtime
  • Support the implementation of a safety-first culture, including active participation in safety initiatives and reporting unsafe conditions
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and follow site-specific guidelines
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to a high-performing, knowledge-sharing environment
  • Assist with capital project integration and provide cover during holidays or peak maintenance periods


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a similar maintenance role
  • Experience with plant operations and maintenance tasks
  • Familiarity with relevant equipment and instrumentation
  • For electrical bias: experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and fault finding
  • Ability to maintain, calibrate, and commission process instrumentation (e.g., pressure, flow, temperature)


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., COMPEX/ATEX)
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • For electrical bias: ability to modify PLC ladder logic and SCADA graphics
  • Experience working with process control technicians


Qualifications:

Essential:

  • HNC in Engineering Practice/Mechanical Engineering, or
  • Completed Modern Apprenticeship, or
  • NVQ Level 3 (Mechanical or Electrical - ECITB), or equivalent
  • Valid Driver''s Licence

Preferred:

  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
  • Mechanical COMPEX (EX01-EX04 or EX11)
  • City & Guilds 2382-22 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
  • FLT/Telehandler licence
