EstimatorMain ContractorSouth Yorkshire£40k - £50k + Car / Allowance + Benefits Our client, an established main contractor based in South Yorkshire, is seeking to appoint a skilled Estimator to join their team. With a turnover of c£25m, they specialise in delivering new build and refurbishment projects up to £10m across diverse sectors including commercial, education, and healthcare. As a key member of the estimating department, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders, assessing project costs, and supporting the overall pre-construction process. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the company continues its growth trajectory and maintains its strong market presence. The ideal candidate will have;

• Proven experience working within a main contracting environment in an Estimating role
• Strong knowledge of construction costs, pricing strategies, and procurement processes
• Ability to interpret and analyse technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite
• Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and strong organisational skills
• Experience managing multiple tenders simultaneously to meet deadlines
