This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary team of 30 engineers, contributing to cutting-edge product development from concept through to production. Role Overview: In this hands-on role, you ll be instrumental in the full lifecycle of mechanical design projects from initial concept development, through to prototyping, testing, and production handover. You ll need to think creatively, offer practical solutions to mechanical challenges, and apply a strong understanding of manufacturing techniques and materials. This position suits someone with an eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and a natural drive for high-quality, innovative engineering. Key Responsibilities Design new products in collaboration with engineers across multiple disciplines.Develop concept designs based on customer requirements.Design components using a wide range of manufacturing processes, including: Plastic Injection Moulding CNC Machining (plastics and metals) Sheet Metal Fabrication Vacuum Forming Aluminium and Plastic Extrusions Build and evaluate prototypes to ensure functional performance.
