As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for being our first point of contact for the support centre, acting as an advisor for all HR and ER related activities. You’ll deliver a comprehensive HR service to elevate performance and foster growth, whilst providing consultative guidance on HR. This could include supporting talent development initiatives, facilitating effective change management and making sure we have compliance and consistency in our HR practices whilst reinforcing an environment that upholds our values. Whilst this role has a focused approach with our support centre partners, there will be times where you’ll also support our retail leadership team.

We’ll look to you to bring your previous HR experience in a fast-paced, multi-site operation. You’ll have strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with sound knowledge of employment law and TUPE. We’re looking for someone who has strong professionalism and understands confidentiality and acts with integrity in everything they do. You’ll have excellent communication and customer focus skills, with an ability to engage and build relationships at all levels across the business. Ideally, you’ll be CIPD qualified, or studying towards this.

Responsibilities

Providing HR advice, training and support to both retail and support centre leadership teams, enabling first line management of basic partner issues and any identified performance concerns.

Supporting succession planning and mid/end of year talent discussions for support centre

Managing and providing a consultative service on all ER matters within support centre and supporting in retail when required

Identifying and addressing HR needs within the support centre, establishing a strong relationship with professionals and people leaders

Implementing HR related programmes and processes to support productivity, organizational growth and development of partners

Analysing key metrics, identifying trends and creating action plans to improve business performance and drive partner engagement

Supporting in the delivery and design of HR policies and training to support the development of management practices, skills and knowledge

Coaching managers to support in all people related issues

Updating and maintaining correct documentation for all generalist HR activities

Managing and coordinating responses to Data Subject Access Requests in compliance with data protection regulations, working with stakeholders across the business to gather, review and provide the required data in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Previous HR experience in a fast-paced, multi-site operation

Strong professionalism with integrity and confidentiality

Excellent communication and customer focus skills; ability to engage at all levels

Sound knowledge of employment law and TUPE

CIPD qualification or currently studying towards CIPD (preferred)
