Overview

We are looking to recruit an experienced enterprise solution architect who has practical experience of creating a consistent application architecture during the migration from a mainly on-premise architecture to a cloud-first architecture. The role aims to establish a clearly focused enterprise architecture that aligns with the business strategy and ambitions. The organisation currently lacks architectural maturity. The role may involve both enterprise and solutions architecture elements as the enterprise architectural maturity and governance frameworks evolve.You will work closely with key stakeholders in the business to understand the As-Is architecture and to create a Target Architecture aligned with the business strategy. This will enable the business to create the capacity and opportunity to achieve its objectives.Responsibilities

Shape the development architecture to improve productivity and alignment with the needs of the business.Act as architectural lead to ensure partner services are aligned with the IT and business strategy and integrate with in-house developments and core business architecture.Ensure solutions are compatible with the overall strategy and roadmap, removing duplication and data silos to create a clearly focused application architecture that addresses current and future needs.Develop an architecture roadmap integrated with business, data, and infrastructure architectures to enable expansion ambitions.Qualifications and Expectations

Proven experience as an enterprise solution architect with practical experience in migrating to a cloud-first architecture.Ability to work with stakeholders across the business to capture As-Is and define a Target Architecture aligned with business strategy.Experience leading architectural governance and maturing enterprise architecture within an organisation.Why This Role
