Overview

We are looking to recruit an experienced enterprise solution architect who has practical experience of creating a consistent application architecture using the process of migrating from a mainly on premise architecture to a Cloud first architecture to create a clearly focused enterprise architecture that aligns with the business''s strategy and ambitions. The organisation currently lacks architectural maturity. The role is likely to involve both enterprise and solutions architecture elements as the enterprise architectural maturity and governance frameworks evolve.This position involves working closely with key stakeholders in the business to understand the As-Is architecture and to create a Target Architecture aligned with business strategy to enable the business to achieve its objectives. You will shape the development architecture to improve productivity and alignment with business needs. As the architectural lead you will work with partners to ensure their services are aligned with the IT strategy and integrate with in-house developments and core business architecture. This will ensure solutions are compatible with the overall strategy and roadmap, removing duplication and data silos to create a clearly focused application architecture that addresses current and future business needs.This is a key role within a growing organisation. You will develop an architecture roadmap integrated with the business, data and infrastructure architectures to enable the business to have the capacity to achieve planned expansion ambitions. Experience as an enterprise solution architect with practical experience migrating from on-premise to Cloud-first architectures.Ability to work across enterprise and solution architecture domains and adapt as governance frameworks evolve.Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to translate business strategy into architecture artifacts.Additional Information
